Shannon has worked in the St’át’imc Territory since 1996. She spent eleven years supporting the Stl’atl’imx Nation Hydro team in the negotiations with BC Hydro. From there, she was the founding CEO for the Tsal’álh Development Corporation. Currently Shannon is the Governance Advisor for the P’egp’íg’lha Council (PC) which is the traditional governance arm of the T’it’q’et community.
The PC’s mandate is the protection of Title and Rights on behalf of the past, present and future P’egp’íg’lha. Shannon is responsible for supporting Chief Shelley Leech and the PC in all its operations including the management and protection of lands, waters and resources throughout the St’át’imc Territory.
