My name is Vanessa Thevarge, and I have been hired as the Health and Social Services Manager.
My health career started when I graduated from the Medical Office Assistant Program in 2000-2001. I was hired on at T’it’q’et in 2002 as the Community Health Clerk which I held the position for 13+ years. In 2015, I worked at the St’at’imc Outreach Health Services as the Administrative Assistant as well as I graduated from the Aboriginal Health Community Administration Program at the University of British Columbia, in 2016 I moved to Sekw’el’was as the Health Coordinator, and finally in 2018 I started work at Bonaparte First Nation as the Health Director. I have gained many lessons, skills, and knowledge working in the health field for 20+ years and I look forward to utilizing them in my current role.
